Cultural Events

When our people come together we share our knowledge and learn from each other. Knowledge is a sacred gift passed down from the creator and our ancestors. Learning it and sharing it honors them and the sacrifices they endured preserving our traditional knowledge and way of life for thousands of years.

Indigenous Knowledge - Keep The Knowledge Flowing wants to know about all of your cultural events taking place so that we can share this information with people seeking to learn this knowledge. Every time we attend a cultural event we meet new people, make connections with others and the experience becomes a part of us.  Plus we have fun while we are doing it!

If you are planning an event please contact us so we can help share the information with those who would like to join in. We want to know about it, no matter how big or small the event is, it can be anything from your community having a powwow to a walk in the forest to collect traditional medicine. Both are examples of events that are critical to transferring our cultural knowledge to the next generation and we appreciate your efforts to help us accomplish this goal.
